ULD unloading

The Bagtipper is an ULD handling system to unload suitcases out of the ULD without any physical effort being required.

(Semi) automatic ULD unloading makes the baggage handling process more efficient, improves working conditions and has benefits in terms of safety (less hands on the suitcases).

Bagtipper capacity depends on the type of ULD and the loading degree.

The capacity is ca. 1200 suitcases per hour.

The Bagtipper tilts the ULD towards the baggage conveyors. By lifting the ULD the suitcase are sliding out in layers onto the baggage separation belts.

More than 4 million suitcases are unloaded since 2009 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
